I. Overview of the contracting scope
The second-level qualification for general contracting in electric power engineering grants the contracting unit extensive contracting capabilities in the field of electric power engineering. According to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, this qualification allows the contracting unit to undertake general contracting tasks for various types of electric power engineering projects, including thermal power generation, hydropower generation, nuclear power generation, wind power generation, solar power generation, and power transmission and transformation.
II. Specific Contracted Projects
Power transmission and transformation engineering: involving the construction and maintenance of power facilities such as high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage transmission lines, substations, etc.
Thermal power generation projects: including the construction and renovation of thermal power stations using coal, oil, gas, and other fuels.
Hydropower engineering: covers the construction and installation of hydropower facilities such as hydropower stations and pump stations.
Nuclear power engineering: It involves the construction, maintenance, and renovation of nuclear power plants, including facilities such as nuclear reactors and nuclear fuel cycles.
Wind power engineering: including the construction of wind farms, the installation and commissioning of wind turbine generators.
Solar photovoltaic power generation engineering: involving the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic power stations.
III. Relevant regulatory basis
According to Article 26 of the Construction Law of the People's Republic of China, units contracting construction projects shall hold qualification certificates obtained in accordance with the law and undertake projects within the scope of business permitted by their qualification level. As one of the professional qualifications, the second-level qualification for general contracting of electric power projects clearly defines the business boundaries of contracting units in the field of electric power engineering. At the same time, Article 25 of the Regulation on the Quality Management of Construction Projects also emphasizes that construction units shall obtain corresponding qualification certificates in accordance with the law and undertake projects within the scope permitted by their qualification level, ensuring the quality and safety of electric power projects.
